Touzan Taiko, founded in 2009, is Cal Poly Pomona’s collegiate taiko group, making noise and spreading the art of taiko to surrounding communities.
Self-funded and self-trained, we have built ourselves up from a small group of taiko enthusiasts to an ever growing family, dedicated to passing on the art kumidaiko.
Touzan stands for “East Mountains”, named after our location east of Los Angeles.
